CINE VERITAS Human Rights Festival this December

The UP Film Institute, with the Cine Veritas Group*, invites you to be a part of the 2008 Cine Veritas Human Rights Festival on December 9-12, 2008 at the UPFI Cine Adarna, Videotheque and Ishmael Bernal Gallery. This four-day festival aims to promote human rights awareness through various multi-media/ -format activities organized by the participating groups. The conduct of this year’s festival goes beyond its film festival program. It includes cultural presentations and educational discussions in an effort to broaden viewer’s understanding of human rights and update them with the current state of it in our country. Entrance to all activities and screenings are for free, except for the musical play.
