Step-Up Artist Management Center
Performing Arts Workshops

SAMC Activities from December 6, 2008 to February 2009

Description:
The center shall offer instructions in dance, music and theatre for
all ages with unique opportunities for performance in a variety of
stage and television productions.

Objectives:
The center shall strive to provide workshop participants
with performing tools they need to pursue a professional career in
the arts.

The center shall provide a nurturing and challenging
workshop experience even for those who will attend the workshops for
fitness or for fun. They, too, shall reap the many benefits of arts
training.
Students can choose from a selection of theater and musical
theater core classes.
All students are cast in a theatrical or musical presentation. The
final session is Showcase Day, and parents are encouraged to
attend. Students also have the option of signing up for private
instrumental music or voice lessons.
Audition technique and theatrical make-up are some of the extra
lessons given during our courses and workshops.

Courses offered:

Basic to Advanced Acting Workshop
- 6-day workshop w/c covers the 6 important cores in Acting.

Vocal Performance Workshop
- Voice Preparatory
- Dynamics
- Warning Against Danger
- Musicianship
- Musical and Dramatic Expression

Rock band
- This program is designed to teach
the fundamentals of playing and
rehearsing in a rock band.

Dance Workshop
- Street Dance
- Basic Jazz

Communication Skills Workshop
- English Proficiency/ Accent Training
- Tagalog Proficiency/ Accent Training
- Hosting (DJ and VJ)
