If you want to laugh and escape from the difficulties of life, Live AIDS (Ang Istoryang Dinibelop ng SAMASKOM) is the show for you! Love and passion fuel this annual musical-comedy series built by UP SAMASKOM (Samahan ng Mga Mag-Aaral sa Komunikasyon) , a student organization based in the UP College of Mass Communication.

This year's show, billed as "Live AIDS Silver: The UP Centennial Edition", is a tribute to the University of the Philippines directed by Ned Legaspi. For its 25^th year, residents and alumni members are set to give highly-energized performances on November 28, 29, and 30, 2008 at the UP Theater. Top humorists Giselle Sanchez, Tuesday Vargas, theater actor RS Francisco, singer Miro Valera (Stonefree), stand up comedians Ms. Ador, and Gie Kinis headline the show. It is supported by the UP Centennial Commission as it reaches its one quarter of UP's 100^th celebration.

Live AIDS is a parody of life. It humorizes the struggles of everyday living and generates social awareness to the audience. "It's more than a laughing trip – it's a look at our lives and a recreated reality, " said Director Ned Legaspi. This witty production show makes us forget sorrow and lets us look at life from a comical point of view.

The "magic" of Live AIDS lies on the dedication of SAMASKOM to give back to the organization and university that we love. Laughters, sweat and tears define the experiences that we share. This strengthens our character and builds life-time friendships which aid us as when we face the harsh realities of the world.
